Many people point to the movie The Secret and say that the law of attraction is nonsense. They see the reference to the universe being a genie that you command as simply being wishful thinking. You can visualize a million dollars all day long, and never get a penny richer for doing so. This interpretation is very short-sighted. Just a bit of inspection shows that the teachers in The Secret have taken massive action to get to where they are today. The same is true of any practitioner of the law of attraction.
Often times the massive action part gets left out because everybody’s situation is unique and requires different actions. The law of attraction put simply is you must visualize what it is that you want first before you can attain that vision. Once the vision is in your mind, your mind can begin devising a strategy of actions to implement to successfully achieve that vision.
A traveler cannot find a destination without an address and a roadmap to get there. However, he must know where he wants to go first before knowing the address so that he may locate the right map. This sequence is true in many things that we do, starting with the end point in mind allows for a much more efficient path of achievement.
The law of attraction starts with vision followed by strategy and action. Each piece is just as important as the other. All successful leaders realize that you must have vision, strategy, and action to make it to the top.
